By the way, I'd like to ask you people out there something.It's about fanart, so if you're not interested in it, you can stop reading at this point.

In my opinion fanart is allowed to do everything - that means the story/picture/comic you're making about you're favorite movie/tv-show/book could contain the most ghastly spin - as long as it is entertaining!
On the other side, I also enjoy fanart that tries to be as close to the original as possible.
I think that both trends have their right to exist.
But what about you, readers? Do you think that fanart should be as true as possible or do you say "everything is permitted"?
